WHERE IS THE WEDDING CEREMONY AND RECEPTION VENUE?

Our wedding ceremony and reception will take place in the heart of Tower Grove Park at the Piper Palm House, a historic greenhouse that overlooks lily ponds.

CAN I RSVP ONLINE OR DO I HAVE TO MAIL IN AN RSVP CARD?

We invite you to RSVP online or, if you have trouble with technology, give one of us a call!

AM I ALLOWED TO BRING MY CHILDREN/A PLUS-ONE?

The name of every guest invited to attend is listed individually on your invitation. Due to space restrictions, we unfortunately cannot accommodate additional guests.

Select children will be in attendance on an invitation-only basis.

WILL YOUR WEDDING BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

Our ceremony and reception will be indoors, while the cocktail hour before the reception will take place under a tent in the plaza just outside the Piper Palm House.

IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE NEAR YOUR WEDDING VENUE?

There is free, public parking within Tower Grove Park near the Piper Palm House. We recommend our guests park to the east of the venue, along Northeast Drive (near the Music Stand).

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE AT YOUR WEDDING CEREMONY?

We recommend arriving at Tower Grove Park approximately 30 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to park, walk to the ceremony space and find a seat. The ceremony will begin at 6:15 p.m.

WHAT'S THE DRESS CODE FOR YOUR WEDDING?

We ask that you wear cocktail attire. For men, we suggest a suit and tie or blazer with dress pants. For women, cocktail dresses (mid-length or longer), dressy separates or jumpsuits.

HAVE YOU RESERVED A BLOCK OF ROOMS AT A HOTEL?

We have arranged a room block at the DoubleTree St. Louis Forest Park. Please book your stay by September 25 to guarantee a room in our block. Use our booking link or mention the “Group Gunning/Garrison Wedding” while booking (314-256-7777) to receive our reduced rate and complementary breakfast buffet.

WILL THERE BE AN OPEN BAR?

There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception. If you plan to continue celebrating after the reception officially ends, we do recommend bringing cash or a credit card.

WHAT TIME WILL YOUR WEDDING RECEPTION END? IS THERE AN AFTER-PARTY?

Our reception will end at 11 p.m. While there won’t be an official after-party, our guests are welcome to continue the festivities at the pub, nightclub, dive bar, or cocktail lounge of their choice. (The couple will likely be heading for the Grove, which is nearby.)

WILL THERE BE MEAL OPTIONS FOR GUESTS WITH DIETARY RESTRICTIONS OR ALLERGIES?

If you have restrictions or allergies, please let us know in the designated section of your digital RSVP. We want you to feel comfortable and well fed!

AM I ALLOWED TO TAKE PHOTOS AT THE CEREMONY?

We kindly request that you keep our wedding "unplugged” and refrain from taking any photos or videos at our ceremony. Our professional photographer will capture all the highlights so that you can be fully present and so that all our guests can experience our ceremony without distraction.
